The Lord Of War
Thursday, December 14th, 2006
The Lord Of War was our first multiplayer game, created by 5 Colorado Game Development Students. Inspiration for the Lord Of War came from the atari game Warlords. All code and art in the game is completely original, created from scratch.
The programming and art team consisted of:
- Clifford Stene
- Blair Bryngelson
- Norman Grinols
- Philip Schlagel
- Marty Graham
The Lord Of War came from a day of playing Warlords for the Atari 2600. We decided to take this game and add a tiki god theme. This game took two weeks to design and seven weeks to develop.
This game was developed using the Torque Game Builder. Over the seven weeks we ran into many obstacles which threatened the completion of the game. Thankfully, due to brilliant team work and quick thinking we were able to overcome these obstacles to complete the game.
If you get a chance, we would love to hear your
feedback.
The most challenging project I have ever worked on!
